Some big things on my mind that I've picked up from recent sermons:
1. I rely too much on sermons and church for my spiritual welfare. While these are good additions, my personal walk with Jesus is dependent solely on my relationship with Him. I need to personally develop that relationship through my own seeking, studying, conversing, and worshiping.
2. When I go to God's Word, I'm always looking to see what I can find to help myself. Instead, I should be going to God's Word looking to see God. My focus needs adjustment.
