I started counting calories today.
I also went to the gym intending to run 3 straight miles. That was my goal, but I knew I wasn't really going to be able to do it. I've run 3 miles, but not straight. So, my plan was to jog really slowly so I didn't tire too quickly. I got really bored, and it was hard.
But, my friend, Kristi-Anna, was with me, and at 2.5 when I really really really wanted to quit, she said, "You're almost done!" and she ran at my pace next to me for the rest of the 3.
so, I DID IT! The time was 40:45, but I don't care that it's slow. I'm excited I ran 3 straight miles.
