Ideas

I've kind of run out of ideas of things to paint beyond landscapes and flowers, which seem to be the only things I can even kind of paint. So, I turned to child-like pictures, with the idea in mind of illustrating a children's book. I think that's something I'd like to do, as well as author one. So, I started playing with the paintings on picnik.com.


My brother asked for something in browns and tans to match his living room, but he wanted something "New Yorkish" and I can't really do anything that detailed. I went with abstract instead. Once again, I softened it and tweaked the colors a bit on picnik.
