Steadfast Love

Psalm 66:20 - Blessed be God, because he has not rejected my prayer or removed his steadfast love from me!

No matter what pit of despair I am in, God's love is steadfast. Despite how far I run from God, His steadfast love remains the same. I can spew hatred and anger toward God, but His love continues. My view of God does not change who He is.

As I've been meditating on Scripture lately, His steadfast love has repeatedly thrown itself at me, reminding me that He never quits. He never gives up on me. He is greater than my failures. He is greater than my fears. He is greater than my lack of love. His love is steadfast.

Psalm 63:3 -
Because your steadfast love is better than life,
my lips will praise you.

Psalm 59:17 -

O my Strength, I will sing praises to you, for you, O God, are my fortress, the God who shows me steadfast love.
