The other day I was walking Dizzy (she's the coolest dog ever, and I don't even like dogs!), and I was talking to God. I told Him, "God, I love that You are beyond my comprehension. Your thoughts are above my thoughts and your ways above my ways. The fact that I can never know all of You makes me feel safe in Your superiority. I love that You are in complete control. But, at the same time, I hate those attributes, too!"
I want control! I want to know the future! I want it MY WAY! I want to know all the whys of life. But I know my ways would fail. My desires and choices would end in disaster, as they often do. So, I'll stick with the loving fact that my God is in control, and His way is perfect.
